REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

DATE: MAY 30, 2023
TIME:  3:00 PM (EST) / 12:00 PM (PST)

Topic:  Reducing the Impact that Challenging Behavior Has on Teachers' Well-Being

Guest SpeakerKatie Palmer, M.Ed., BCBA.

Katie is an educator and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, helping clinicians, educators, and parents increase their psychological flexibility and that of their students and children. She has worked intensively with students with challenging behavior and their support teams to identify the variables at play and approach change systematically, compassionately, and effectively. She has worked in educational settings in multiple roles for over 20 years. She is a Prosocial Facilitator as well, helping teams and organizations build effective and highly functional communities, in the service of common values.

Webinar Description:  Educators often face the daunting task of managing challenging behaviors in the classroom. This can be especially overwhelming when they strive to provide quality educational opportunities and have to meet district expectations. In many cases, teachers feel stressed, unsupported, and without the necessary tools to navigate these daily struggles.  If this sounds familiar, we invite you to join us for a webinar that offers practical strategies for improving teachers' well-being while also building teacher toolboxes for managing challenging behaviors in the classroom.
