Technical Support Engineer






The technical support engineer position has many responsibilities but the main focus is supporting our customers and helping them be successful with our software.  As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to support calls and tickets as well as working in the field for software installations. The skills needed to perform this job include good customer support skills, and good knowledge of SQL with the ability to test software; writing up any and all issues to be fixed. Software development skills are a plus.



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 2 yrs of experience in Application Maintenance and Support

  • Experience working with customers on phone and via ticketing system

  • Experience  working with customers in person during installation of software

  • Good knowledge on SQL Select queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions

  • Batch Job Process and its issues

  • Effective Log Analysis

  • Change Management process

  • Web App Support

  • Monitoring Tools

  • Perform Application Testing or Smoke Test


Additional Skills:

  • Automated testing with selenium IDE

  • Software development skills in any language


This position prefers experience with customers and Databases.  Must be authorized to work in the US.
