WHAT IS YOUR EDPOWER?
EdPower values the education community and all that you have contributed since our country started to face this national pandemic. We want to hear about how YOU or someone you know has used their EDPOWER to make a change or a significant difference in the educational community. This contest, called #whatsyourEdpower, is an opportunity to celebrate the unsung heroes of education.
How do I enter the contest (BEGIN MARCH 15)
We will be accepting contest entries at this link on the EDPower website now (March 15) through May 15th 2022. You'll need to provide your contact information and your nominee's contact information if you are nominating someone else as well as a short 1-3 minute video on how you or your nominee have made an educational contribution.
You will need to fill out this application which asks you to answer these questions: How have you or your nominee made a difference in education during the last two years? What makes you or your nominee such a special part of your community? Why do you or your nominee deserve to be recognized? Don’t be shy! Let us showcase your magic!
What do the winners receive?
Our panel of judges will review all eligible contest entries and select up to four #WhatsYourEdPower winners who will then be announced online on Wednesday June 1st, 2022
Grand Prize: $500
2nd Place: $250
3rd Place: $100
Honorable Mention: $50
Additionally, our winners and their videos will be blasted out on EdPower’s social media channels, showcased on the website. The grand prize winner will also be invited as a VIP guest to our 2023 Summer Educational Summit. Winners will be announced Wednesday June 1st, 2022. No late entries accepted.
Who can make a nomination?
You must be 18 years or older to nominate yourself or a local community hero. Limit one entry per person and email address.
The nominee must be affiliated with education to be eligible. Please get consent from the nominee before entering their contact information on the online application form below.
